 Sam Blackford: President and Chief Executive OfficerMr. Blackford has
worked exclusively with non profit organizations for the last 8 years in his
current tenure as President/CEO. He has focused this work to help
organizations understand the value of their brand in the broader marketplace.
He has over 20 years of experience in commercial print and production and has
used that strength to build a solid management team. He oversees all
aspects of the company and puts particular emphasis on developing and nurturing
client relationships. His past experience includes work with large
national clients such as American Express, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and
March of Dimes. Prior to joining PEP, Mr. Blackford has held senior
positions at Precision Technology, Inc. and Meehan-Tooker Inc. Mr. Blackford is a graduate of Boston University.
Hilary Jandl: Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Jandl has been with the Company since 2000 as its Chief Financial Officer and has day-to-day financial and operational oversight responsibilities for PEP. Prior to joining PEP, Ms. Jandl was Corporate Controller at Chemfab Corporation, a NYSE manufacturing company. Ms. Jandl is a graduate of Franklin Pierce College and the University of Auckland.
Corinne Biggs: Sr. Vice President, Strategic Development
Corinne joined PEP Direct as Sr. Vice President of Strategic Development in
2007. She has more than 26 years experience managing integrated
fundraising programs for numerous national and regional charities. She
specializes in bringing data-driven strategic direction to her accounts by
integrating offline, online, telemarketing, and database initiatives.
Prior to joining PEP, Corinne was Vice President of Account Services at Amergent
where she directed a team responsible for WNET Channel 13, and many
healthcare-related and religious charities. She also spent 5 years at
Newport Creative Communications where she led a business unit that managed among
its accounts: Catholic Charities, Hope School for Children, Community
Servings and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Corinne began her career
at Epsilon where she grew to a Senior Director position managing a staff of 12.
She oversaw account relationships with clients including: American
Diabetes Association, Leukemia Society of America, Catholic Relief Services,
WTTW Public TV, Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Archdiocese of Boston.
In Addition to her professional role as a fundraiser, Corinne has served as
board member and Development Committee chairperson for the John F. Kennedy
Social Service Center in Boston, MA and Action for Boston Community Development
- the city's anti-poverty agency.
Michael T. Elithorpe: Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Elithorpe joined PEP in 2004. He has worked in the direct marketing field since 1989 in business development roles for Newport Creative Communications and BrickMill Marketing, where he was responsible for the direct mail programs for World Wildlife Fund, American Bible Society, Guideposts Ministries, Catholic Relief Services, and the Libertarian National Committee to name a few. He has generated client success with extensive strategic planning and his creative and analytical skills. Mr. Elithorpe is a graduate of Plymouth State University.
Megan Gibeau: Vice President of Strategic & Client Services
Ms. Gibeau joined PEP in 2003 and oversees the creative and account management teams. She has over 14 years experience in the marketing and fundraising community holding positions at CODA Inc, Epsilon, and Newport Creative Communications. Ms. Gibeau has worked with various national organizations including Paralyzed Veterans of America, American Diabetes Association, National Urban League and Catholic Relief Services among others. She has extensive knowledge of direct marketing strategy and fundraising analysis.
Matt Kennedy: Creative Director
Mr. Kennedy has been with PEP Direct since 1990. He has received numerous
industry awards for his design work, and developed breakthrough creative
concepts for many clients including PVA, United Spinal Association, Defenders of
Wildlife, and Guidepost Ministries. Matt's extensive design, production
and presentation skills have been instrumental to the dynamic and bright future
of our rapidly growing company.
Don Labrie: Director of Purchasing
Mr. Labrie has been in the printing industry for over 25 years. After receiving an associates degree in graphic arts, he spent five years working at Village Press, a family owned business in Concord. NH. Subsequently he went to Spectrum Mailing Services, a full service lettershop before starting a 17-year career at Concord Litho Group. In his current tenure he is responsible for the estimating and purchasing departments.
Betty Vaine: Controller
Mrs. Vaine has been PEP’s Controller for the past seven years and supervises a team of seven. Prior to joining PEP Mrs. Vaine held positions at Benchmark Industries and Seppala & Aho Construction Company and has over 20 years of accounting experience. Mrs. Vaine brings strong technical skills which complement her extensive accounting knowledge and experience.
Eric Gruber: Technical Services Manager
Mr. Gruber joined PEP in April of 2002. In his position at PEP, Mr. Gruber is responsible for ensuring the company’s network and technical systems work flawlessly. He has over seven years experience working with leading edge technical hardware and software. Mr. Gruber has held positions at Interliant, The Chickering Group and he served six years in the US Army. Mr. Gruber is a graduate of Northeastern University.
